I’m not saying I have all the answers… I’m just saying I’m gonna tell you what I think, use a few inappropriate words, and probably feel VERY strongly about it. 😂
Professional? Absolutely.
Polite? Of course..
Sugarcoating? Absolutely not. 😂
Listen… I take skincare very seriously. Halloween? I take that even more seriously. 😂🎃
don’t want small talk. I need to know your favorite color, your childhood trauma, and what made you this way. 😂
If you know me, you already know October is not just a month around here. 😂🎃 The second October hits, I’m pulling out every pumpkin, wearing every Halloween accessory I own, and acting like I’ve been personally appointed ambassador of spooky season. So yes… I absolutely knew what day it was. 😂
When curiosity gets the best of you and you start asking questions that probably should’ve stayed in your head 😂😭 I swear I’m just asking for educational purposes… but his answer definitely raised more questions. 💀
When October 1st hits and suddenly I have a completely reasonable excuse to wear every Halloween accessory I own. 😂🎃 Like I needed an excuse anyway. 🧟♀️🖤
I see regulars every 6-8 weeks it every 3 months. There’s a whole different level of comfort once they’ve been coming to you long enough. At that point, the appointment turns into half skincare treatment, half catching up with your friend. I have friends of all ages 🫶🏼😏
Sometimes looks can be deceiving. A Wood’s lamp is a special UV light used in skin analysis to highlight certain changes in the skin that may be harder to see under normal lighting.
Under the lamp, different areas can appear brighter, darker, or fluoresce differently depending on things like pigmentation, oil/sebum, dryness, buildup, and certain microorganisms.
It can help give us a closer look at what’s happening beneath the surface—but it’s not a diagnostic tool by itself, and not everything you see under a Wood’s lamp represents a skin condition.
Basically… your skin has receipts. 😂🔦
Here’s what I found when I put MY skin under the Wood’s lamp. 👀
When your patient’s significant other starts calling back to back and you’re just trying to do your job 😂 Like hiiii, I promise she’s safe, she’s with me, and yes… you can stop calling now. 😭 All jokes aside I don’t care if you just want to answer the call, or you’ve been waiting for the specific call or maybe you’re literally in a work meeting I will stay quiet and work while you handle business.
The schedule has 14 patients on it and apparently my brain has room for exactly 3 names sometimes.
