Open Body Therapeutics
At Open Body Therapeutics, healing begins by learning how to listen to your body instead of pushing past it.
Through intentional bodywork, each session is designed to gently move from survival mode into a state of balance, awareness, and deep relaxation🫶
Episode 4 🌞 Creating my dream massage office in 6 DAYS!
Okay NOW we’re getting somewhere (after having to complain to management). The vision I’ve had in my head is finally starting to make its way into this office.
Still questioning a few of my choices but I’m trusting the process.
Tomorrow… we finish her 💫
EPISODE 3, PART 2 🌞 Creating my dream office in 7 days
At this point, the AC situation deserves its own series because WHAT DO YOU MEAN I was taken out of rotation?!
Despite all the chaos, I’m still so freaking excited for this next chapter. The old office is officially EMPTY and now I can finally focus on bringing my vision for the new space to life.
6 days to go… now the fun part begins 👀
EPISODE 3, PART 1 🌞 Creating my dream office in 7 DAYS!
Today’s agenda: pack up my ENTIRE office, learn how to use power tools without injuring myself, make approximately 500 trips to my car, and question why I decided I could do all of this myself. 😂
But she’s PACKED and we’re officially making moves to the new space!!
Follow for Part 2 because y’all… wait until you hear what my MAINTENANCE MAN told me about my AC situation. 🙃 I just about lost it.

Social media makes it really easy to share the exciting stuff: the wins, the growth, the “look what I did!” moments.
But lately, my life has been full of flops. Ideas that didn’t work, things that didn’t go as planned, money spent that probably didn’t need to be spent, and plenty of moments where I’ve thought, well… that was a choice.
I’m sharing these because a business, growing as a person, and figuring out what works is literally just trial and error. Not everything needs to become a success story. Sometimes it’s just a flop, a lesson, a “meh”, and then you move on.
So here’s a little break from the highlight reel. Tell me one of your recent flops below — big, small, funny, embarrassing, whatever. Let’s normalize figuring it out as we go ⬇️⬇️
EPISODE 2 🌞 Creating my dream office in 9 DAYS!
Did we finish painting? No. Did I miss my sink delivery? Yes. Did I still make time for margs & bruschetta? ABSOLUTELY.
Right now, you’re getting the behind-the-scenes of my crazy life while I try to close old chapters and get everything ready for the new one.
Keep following along because the FUN part—actually building my dream office—is coming very soon. ✨
9 days to go… let’s see how this goes.
EPISODE 1 🌞 Creating my dream office in 10 days!
This mini series is going to be a BLAST! We’re going to be up, down, flipped around and probably changing plans 500 times along the way.
Nothing is perfectly planned or pre-recorded weeks in advance — everything you’re saying is what was ACTUALLY happening that day. Between closing out my old offices, still seeing clients, renovations, painting, moving, decorating AND having a life somewhere in between… we’re just figuring out as we go.
First up: what was supposed to be a quick paint touchup turned into painting the entire room.
10 days. A lot to do. And apparently no solid plan.
Follow along and let’s see if I can pull this off! 🫶

10 DAYS UNTIL A NEW CHAPTER 🌵✨
September has officially become one of my favorite months! Sept. 1st marks the beginning of my new office — a space that feels like the next step toward everything I’ve been working so hard to build for Open Body Therapeutics. More room, more possibilities, more creativity, and so many bigger things to come.
And as if that wasn’t enough to celebrate, September also marks TWO YEARS of Open Body Therapeutics. Two years of learning, growing, taking risks, changing direction, figuring things out as I go, and getting to do work that means so much to me.
And the birthday of one of my favorite people on this planet and the reason why I love the sun sign 🌞
It feels pretty special that this next chapter begins during the same month it all started.
September appointments are open! If you want to be one of the first to experience the new space, now is the time to get on the calendar.
10 days. New space. Two years in business. A whole new era of Open Body 🫶✨🌞
The seated hip flexor lift looks simple… until you actually try it!
This exercise targets the muscles responsible for actively lifting your leg at the hip — especially the iliopsoas — while also challenging your core and the smaller muscles that help stabilize your pelvis. Instead of using momentum or letting your lower back compensate, the goal is to teach your hip flexors to create controlled movement while the rest of your body stays actively still.
Strong, well-coordinated hip flexors are important for walking, climbing stairs, running, getting up from a chair, and maintaining stability through the pelvis. If one side feels shakier, weaker, or harder to lift, don’t force it — it’s informational! Slow it down, stay within your comfortable range, and focus on control over height.
✨ Try a few slow reps on each side. Did one hip feel completely different from the other?

Your neck can hold A LOT of tension without you even realizing it. Between stress, responsibilities, overthinking, forward head posture, and feeling like you have to be the one to hold everything together ALL THE TIME… your shoulders start creeping up, and your neck starts doing way more than it needs to.
This is your reminder to check in with your body. Try incorporating these stretches, exercises, and simple at-home or at-work practices throughout your day and notice how your body responds! 🫶✨🌞
To walk into a place I originally built for my own sanity, and later realized I was building for my clients, too ✨
This job may seem repetitive from the outside: my hands may hurt, my back may ache, I may change the same sheets over and over again, and some days I’m exhausted before I even make it home, BUT every client’s body and nervous system is telling a different story!
Every person needs something different from me that day, and I get to slow down, listen, and meet them where they are 💫 Somewhere between turning the lights on in the morning and shutting them off at the end of the day, I’m reminded how much I really love this little career I’ve built for myself.
