JE Salon is open for business!

I wanted to take this opportunity to share an update on Jason's journey and to thank everyone who has been with us along the way. Some may not fully realize the difficulties Jason has faced. When he came out of his coma, he didn’t recognize anyone—not family, not friends, not his dog Zoe. He couldn’t remember our life together. Simple tasks, like running a lawnmower or turning on the TV, were beyond him. He couldn’t recall his style or the music he loves.

But I’m incredibly happy to report that, through the right therapies and Jason’s eagerness to return to normal, those memories are slowly coming back. I still remember the first time Jason recalled something he had done just an hour before—it brought him to tears. It was a powerful moment, and it gave us hope. Jason has now been at the Brain Rehab Network for five weeks, and it’s made a huge difference.

We’re working hard on getting back to a routine. Jason is eager to drive again, reconnect with friends, have a successful work life, and enjoy a normal home life. He’s even hoping to get his sense of humor back. There’s still a long road ahead, but Jason works hard every day and is making great progress.

I want to thank each and every one of you for giving us the opportunity to rebuild our life. I’ve missed my husband terribly, but I can finally see a light at the end of this long, dark tunnel. I haven’t been able to thank everyone individually, especially since I don’t know who all of you are, but please know how much Jason and I appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
