October 3, Sinful Soaps will step inside The Midnight Menagerie: A Ball of Curiosities — an immersive evening of spectacle, shadow, and beautifully curious things at Puritan Mill.

But we won’t simply be bringing the apothecary.

We’ve been invited to create something just for the Menagerie.

Deep in the laboratory, a new fragrance is taking shape — inspired by the world of The Midnight Menagerie: velvet curtains, worn wood, candlelight, antique trunks, and the lingering mystery of an old-world circus after dark.

We’re not ready to reveal what’s inside the bottle just yet.

But on October 3, the Menagerie will have a scent.

Sinful Soaps has officially been summoned for Road to Vamp Fest: Part Two — and when we heard DJ DarkKid was making his Club de Vampiros debut, there was absolutely no way we were sitting this one out.

We’ll be bringing the apothecary to Sunset Atlanta on Friday, September 25 for a late-night gathering of goth, darkwave, post-punk, deathrock…and beautifully questionable fragrance decisions.

Come dance. Come haunt the apothecary. Come find something wicked to wear home.

I received one of the most extraordinary gifts last night! 🖤🌹

Michael Rollins wrote and created this beautiful piece for me, choosing the words and imagery around something that has become an enormous part of my creative life: fragrance and perfumery.

I was absolutely blown away.

And then there are those final lines:

“The magic of the sensory imagination
Distilled into a bottle
By a perfumer — a spell caster for the senses.”

Seriously. How freaking amazing is this?!

Somehow, Michael managed to capture so much of the strange little world behind Sinful Soaps beautifully.
