I just got the best butt rub ~ Buster 🐶

Hello friends, it is I, Alfie. A petite, delicate flower of an Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing in at a mere, highly manageable 65-ish pounds. I am currently hanging my oversized hat in Nashville, but thanks to the magic of Big Fluffy Dog Rescue, my bags are packed and I can travel to wherever my future couch happens to be located.

My journey started down in Mobile, Alabama, where a shelter asked for help and my current humans wisely looked at my majestic face and said, "Yes, absolutely." I am roughly a year and a half old, which means I have the youthful enthusiasm of a dog who just discovered cheese, combined with the refined manners of a gentleman who refuses to track mud on the good rug.

Let's talk about my likes and dislikes, because boundaries are important.
• Dogs and Cats: Big fan. I am great with other dogs and will even initiate play if you've got the stamina for it. Cats are mostly fascinating little puzzle boxes that require a polite sniff before I move along with my day.
• Leash Walks: Elite. I am a stellar walking companion for strolls and neighborhood hikes. A fenced-in yard would be cool, but as long as you're a dedicated leash walker, we’re golden.
• Couch Surfing: A professional passion. Foster life taught me the true value of high-grade upholstery.
• Children: Look, I’m perfectly nice when we meet, but darty, shrieky humans scare me to the very depths of my soul. I prefer a calm environment with big people or kiddos 14 and up who understand that sudden movements require prior written notice.
