Our Nail Department loved spending time with Dazzle Dry’s Education Coordinator—chatting, learning, asking questions, and continuing to grow our knowledge of a system we’re so proud to offer our guests.

The timing made the visit even more special as Dazzle Dry founder Dr. Vivian Valenty is back in Happy Valley for Penn State Homecoming! A proud Penn State alumna with a Ph.D. in chemistry, Dr. Valenty is the chemist, inventor, and entrepreneur behind Dazzle Dry and has been named to Penn State’s 2026 Homecoming Alumni Court, which recognizes alumni for their achievements following their time at Penn State.

We love the full-circle connection of using a product built on science and innovation by a fellow Penn Stater—right here in Happy Valley!

Licensed in 2026, Kenzie is excited to continue growing her skills at J. Stephens. She especially loves doing nails because it gives her the opportunity to be creative, personalize each service, and bring her guests’ visions to life.

For Kenzie, one of the best parts of working in the beauty industry is helping people feel confident and beautiful while doing something she genuinely loves. She brings a fresh perspective, creativity, and enthusiasm to every appointment.

Outside the salon, Kenzie loves spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends. You can also find her checking out new coffee shops or doing a little shopping in her free time.

We are so excited to have her join our team and we hope you will come enjoy a nail service with her soon!🤍
