What does an Aerolase laser appointment actually feel like? 👀
If you’ve been curious about laser but nervous about pain or downtime, here’s exactly what to expect:
✨ WHAT IT FEELS LIKE
Most of the treatment feels like a comfortable warmth on the skin. Areas with more pigment, redness, active acne, or facial hair may feel a little hotter—but each sensation is very quick as the laser moves across the skin.
⏱️ HOW LONG IT TAKES
Plan for about 45 minutes for the laser treatment itself.
🤍 WHAT HAPPENS AFTER
You’re back to your day! There’s no peeling and no planned downtime. Or, make it a full skin day and pair your laser with a facial or another compatible corrective treatment.
✨ WHEN YOU’LL SEE RESULTS
Aerolase results build over time. Depending on what we’re treating and your individual skin, we typically recommend a series of 3–9 treatments.

When your skin has more than one concern, let’s choose a treatment that can tackle them all. Meet the laser that knows how to multitask: Aerolase Neo Elite.
This client was dealing with both acne and persistent redness. Instead of treating them as two completely separate concerns, Aerolase allows us to work on multiple factors during the same treatment.
So what is the laser actually doing beneath the skin?
✨ For acne: Aerolase delivers heat into the skin that helps reduce acne-causing bacteria and targets the sebaceous glands to help decrease excess oil production. It also helps calm the inflammation surrounding active breakouts.
✨ For redness: The laser is absorbed by hemoglobin—the pigment in blood—which allows us to target excess redness and shrink visible vessels while also helping calm inflammation.
✨ For what acne leaves behind: We can also target lingering discoloration and stimulate collagen remodeling to improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin over time.
