I had the privilege of completing my PADI Coral Reef Ecology Specialty with Pura Vida Divers, taught by the outstanding Susan Innis.

This course goes far beyond identifying corals. It provides a deeper understanding of how coral reef ecosystems function, the challenges they’re facing, and why healthy reefs matter to every diver and every ocean lover.

Even more exciting, this certification is a prerequisite for participating in coral outplanting with Reef Institute, where divers help restore Florida’s reefs by planting nursery-grown corals back onto natural reef structures.

At No Fog Nation, we believe diving is about more than exploring incredible places it’s about becoming a steward of the ocean and leaving our reefs better than we found them.
