Centennial Memory – Jack H., Asbury Methodist Village

"When we moved to Asbury in 2018, we came with more than a little trepidation. We were leaving behind a community and neighbors we knew well and entering a place where everything was unfamiliar.

Then, I met a resident who facilitated the Keese School Memoirs Class, where residents wrote about their life stories. Each story became a legacy for their families while also creating connections with others who had ‘been there, done that.’

The result? There are now several past and current residents who have documented parts of their life stories … stories no one else could have told."

Thank you to the residents, team members, and families whose experiences continue to define the Asbury story, honoring the past, celebrating today, and inspiring the future.
