Firefly Lacquer

The National Parks collection is deeply personal to me. So many of the very best moments of my life and so many of my core memories happened in National Parks.

Seeing brown bears up close in Lake Clark NP was something that will stay with me until the day I die. That is the only place where I have cried when it was time to leave.
Learning about the proposed mining projects in the area broke my heart and continues to anger me in a way I can't properly put into words.

Our National Parks have been unique in that they were the first (and among, I believe, the still very few) to use them as a way to protect wilderness and preserve it from development.

I chose the National Parks Conservation Association as the charity for this collection because they have fought tirelessly to protect these parks and keep them as areas where future generations can go and experience the same awe and wonder that I have been lucky enough to enjoy 🖤

I'm so excited to introduce the National Parks Collection, coming Oct 8th at 6pm CST!

The National Parks collection is a celebration of one of the United States’ greatest achievements: the establishment of the world's first national park system, created to protect unique landscapes and preserve them for public enjoyment. The collection features 6 polishes, and from Oct 8 - Nov 8, $2 from every bottle sold in the collection will be donated to the National Parks Conservation Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the parks for future generations. 

All polishes will be $14 each

Denali
A berry jelly base with blue and pink shimmer and a fuchsia multichrome magnetic, this polish is inspired by  Denali National Park's spectacular fireweed displays in the summer and fall. It is buildable on its own or can be used as a magnetic topper over dark colors to accentuate the blue shimmer. 

Olympic
Inspired by the fog-blanketed coastline of Olympic National Park, Olympic has a smoky plum base with a fine blue-cyan shimmer that shifts to purple at extreme angles. (Try with a matte topcoat for a moody “coastal fog” look.

Grand Teton
Inspired by the iconic Queen of the Tetons, Grizzly Bear 399, Grand Teton is a chocolate brown linear holographic with bronze shimmer. 

Rocky Mountain
Inspired by the alpine evergreen forests of Rocky Mountain National park, this is a muted spruce green packed with linear holo.

Voyageurs
Inspired by Voyageurs National Park’s dazzling winter aurora displays, Voyageurs is an indigo-based jelly packed with reflective silver glitter that and shimmer that shifts between shades of gold, green, blue, pink, and bronze. 

Yosemite 
Inspired by the famed granite formation of El Capitan, Yosemite is a sheer ch*****ne polish loaded with silver reflective glitter and a silver-gold shimmer. This polish builds up in 2-3 coats, depending on nail length, but due to the sheer base, a blurring base coat is recommended for anyone who prefers an opaque finish without any visible nail line.

A special message from Firefly Lacquer's Human-Animal Resources director Rosie:

Starting October 1st, charity donations will run for 30 days from the launch of their collection. This change will allow us to maximize donations (most sales occur during the first two weeks), minimize administrative and processing fees from multiple donations to the same organization, and shift proceeds from previous charity polishes to support the current charity.
We have updated the website to include a charitable giving page with links to the organizations supported, a brief summary of how the organizations are selected, and current totals with receipts.
